A little preparation before delivery day helps everything go more smoothly. Make sure your site, electrical, access path, and final spa location are ready before your scheduled delivery.
Clear responsibilities
Preparation is shared, but the handoff is simple: your site and electrical service are ready first; our team handles placement and spa setup on delivery day.
01 · Prepare the site
The final location needs a completed surface that can safely support the filled spa before the delivery team arrives.
Common options may include a concrete pad, properly prepared paver base, engineered spa pad, or structurally adequate deck. The right choice depends on the site and spa.
For an elevated deck or any questionable structure, confirm suitability with the appropriate contractor, engineer, or qualified professional.Check any HOA rules, permit requirements, setbacks, or other local requirements that may apply to the installation.
Omaha Hot Tubs cannot guarantee local-code or HOA compliance for every property.02 · Electrical preparation
Have the required electrical service completed before delivery, including the disconnect and whip to the spa location. Omaha Hot Tubs’ technician will make the final connection from the prepared whip to the spa during delivery.
Electrical requirements vary by spa model. Use a qualified electrician and confirm the model-specific requirements before work begins.
View Official Sundance Manuals & Pre-Delivery Resources03 · Make sure we can get there
Review the route from the delivery vehicle to the final spa location. The whole path should be clear and accessible on delivery day.
There is no single clearance that fits every spa and delivery method. If any part of the route looks close, call or text Omaha Hot Tubs before delivery so we can review it with you.
04 · Decide the final position
Decide where you want the spa positioned and which direction it should face before the delivery team arrives. Small placement changes can affect everyday use and future access.
05 · Have these ready
These simple details help our team complete placement, setup, filling, and orientation without avoidable delays.
Have a garden hose connected and available. Omaha Hot Tubs uses it during the setup and filling process.
If the home uses well water, let Omaha Hot Tubs know before delivery so we can plan the setup appropriately.
An adult should be available to confirm final placement, answer access questions, and receive the owner orientation.
