Heating takes time
After the initial fill, the spa may need time to reach the temperature you selected. Exact timing varies by model and conditions.

The first few weeks are mostly about learning your spa and settling into a simple ownership routine. This guide covers what to watch, what to learn, and when to reach out for help.
Your spa model, water-care system, filter design, and normal use can change the details. Follow your Sundance® owner's manual and water-care product labels whenever their guidance is more specific.
01 · Day one
Day one is about confirming the basics from orientation and getting comfortable with the parts you will use most often.
02 · First week
Pay attention to the spa a little at a time. The goal is familiarity—not mastering every detail in one week.
A reassuring starting point
After the initial fill, the spa may need time to reach the temperature you selected. Exact timing varies by model and conditions.
Early adjustments may be needed while you learn your testing routine and the water-care system being used.
Normal use and splash-out can change the water level. Learn the normal operating level described in your owner's manual.
It can take time to recognize normal pump and circulation behavior. Ask us when a sound or behavior does not seem right.
03 · Weeks two through four
By the end of the first month, the everyday controls and a few consistent care habits should begin to feel familiar.
Keep care high-level
Test regularly, maintain sanitizer, and adjust the water as needed for the products and system being used. Contact Omaha Hot Tubs when you are unsure.
Visually monitor filter condition, keep the filter area clear, and rinse or clean according to the appropriate maintenance routine. Replacement timing is not universal.
Optional connected ownership
Complete SmartTub setup and confirm connectivity during the first few days. For current setup information, use Sundance's official SmartTub resources.
