the Digging

These answers are deliberately brief. Use the linked owner guide, official resource, or service page when you need the next step.

01

Water Care

Testing, balance, and fresh-water timing.

01How often should I test my water?

Omaha Hot Tubs recommends testing your water at least twice weekly and after heavy use.

02How often should I drain and refill my hot tub?

Omaha Hot Tubs recommends draining and refilling your spa about every 4 months, or sooner if heavy use or changing water conditions call for it.

03What should I do if my water is difficult to balance?

Start by testing the water and correcting total alkalinity first, followed by pH and the rest of the balance as needed. If repeated adjustments are not getting the water back into range, call or text Omaha Hot Tubs.

02

Filters

Cleaning, replacement signs, and water flow.

01How often should I clean my filters?

Inspect and rinse your filters about every 2–4 weeks, with deeper cleaning based on use, filter condition, and the specific Sundance filter system.

02How do I know when a filter needs to be replaced?

Replace a filter when it is damaged, has persistent buildup, no longer cleans up properly, or is associated with reduced flow or recurring restriction. There is no single replacement interval that applies to every filter and spa.

03Can a dirty filter cause problems with my spa?

A dirty or restricted filter can reduce water flow and make the circulation system work harder. Severe or prolonged restriction may contribute to flow problems and premature pump wear, but not every pump problem is caused by a filter.

03

Service & Troubleshooting

Safe starting points and local repair support.

01What should I do if I get a flow error?

Start with the Omaha Hot Tubs Flow Error Troubleshooting Guide. If the issue continues after those checks, contact Omaha Hot Tubs or submit a service request.

02How do I request service?

Visit our Service & Support page and submit the service request form. Include your spa model, serial number if available, error message, and a short description of the problem.

03What information should I have before requesting service?

Have your model, serial number if available, error code or message, a short problem description, heating and pump or circulation status, and any troubleshooting already tried. Submit what you have—missing information is not a barrier to requesting help.

04Do you service all hot tub brands?

Omaha Hot Tubs primarily services Sundance® spas. We may also be able to assist with select Pinnacle and Premium Leisure spas previously sold by our store.

05Do you handle Sundance warranty service?

Yes. Omaha Hot Tubs is the local point of contact for Sundance® warranty repair support and also coordinates non-warranty Sundance repairs. Coverage for a specific repair depends on the applicable Sundance warranty terms.

04

SmartTub & Resources

Official manuals, warranty information, and connected-spa help.

01Where can I find my Sundance manual?

Current Sundance® manuals and model-specific documentation are available through Sundance’s official manuals resource. If you’re not sure which manual applies to your spa, Omaha Hot Tubs can help you identify it.

02Where can I find Sundance warranty information?

Current warranty terms and series-specific coverage are available on Sundance’s official warranty page. Omaha Hot Tubs handles local Sundance warranty service.

03Do I need to register my Sundance spa warranty?

If you purchased your Sundance® spa from Omaha Hot Tubs, we handle the warranty registration for you.

04How do I get help with SmartTub?

Sundance’s official SmartTub resource is the best place for current setup, feature, and support information. If you’re not sure where to start, Omaha Hot Tubs can help point you in the right direction.

05

Seasonal & Vacation

Protecting your spa while away and during freezing weather.

01What should I do if my spa loses power during freezing weather?

Keep the cover closed, do not drain the spa, and review Cold Weather & Power Outage Help. If heat or circulation is not restored promptly, contact Omaha Hot Tubs.

02Should I turn my spa off when I go on vacation?

For a normal short trip, leave the spa powered on, covered, and at its normal operating settings unless Omaha Hot Tubs specifically advises otherwise.

03What should I do before leaving town?

Test and balance the water, check sanitizer, shock as appropriate, confirm a normal water level, and secure the cover before leaving.

04Should I drain my spa for winter?

Do not drain the spa during freezing weather unless Omaha Hot Tubs specifically instructs you to. Water can remain trapped in plumbing and equipment even after the shell is drained.
